First of all I would like to congratulate astronaut Mike Melvill, and Scaled Composite's SpaceShipOne for starting this exciting new era in space travel. I also like to congratulate Burt Rutan the Founder of Scaled Composite for a job well done.

 

I James E. Smith owner of "Smith Space Technologies" a cutting edge company to use industrial hemp for space travel by using hemp composites.

By using fibres from hemp to build composite parts this reduces the weight of the space vehicle, improving its fuel economy. The fuel I will be using will be hemp oil not kerosene that is refined from crude oil called RP-1 (refined petroleum) that is used in combination with liquid oxygen as the oxidizer.

 

 

The space vehicle will be named "SST-Hemp 1" because of the use of industrial hemp in my space program.

 

 

Since industrial hemp can be used for nutritious food, fuel, and thousands of other products not only be grown here in the United States of America but also can be grown in outer space. Parts can be cheaply produced in outer space when industrial hemp is grown in outer space also this is a huge saveings in all aspects of space travel.

 

First step of "Smith Space Technologies" is to produce a space vehicle for manned space flight for tourism, produceing and launching satellites in space, removeing dangerious space junk from orbit then recycled into useful space technologies
